Tip: Dual Time Zones

Did you know in TimeTrak, users have an ability to have dual time zones based on primary database location and user location?

In TimeTrak Admin Console, the timezone of the database location can be specified as per below.

The user’s time zone is specified in the user profile in TimeTrak Professional or Mobile as per below:

User time zone settings are pulled through to job, task, time entry or appointment.

Your business may choose to allow Client Portal users to create new tasks for a job. There may be situations where the Client Portal user is not on local or the same time zone as your business. i.e. your business is located in New Zealand, but your client is based in Samoa. By setting up the time zone against a Client Portal user, your business will know exactly when the task was created and will also help manage the due date.
