This is a legacy report written into the TimeTrak website which is unable to be adjusted.

This report displays the total amount of hours recorded for a day per user along with the user’s total for the date range for a maximum of 14 days, as per below:

When selecting a date range greater than 14 days, the report will display a message advising that the report will only show a maximum of 14 days and the date range will show from the start date till 14 days later (regardless of what is set in the report parameters).

Note: Hours displayed exclude time entries against a time analysis code marked as a “break”.

For more information on unpaid breaks in TimeTrak see this article: https://timetrak.co.nz/blog/category/unpaid-lunch-breaks-in-timetrak/

By default, the report will only display users who have recorded time for the date range grouped by user and ordered by username.

There is an additional option within the report to “Include users without time” (see below) that will include all users in the groups(s) selected if all users are selected.

There is also an additional option within the report to “Include Non Productive Analysis”(see below) that will include total hours per day per user that was recorded to a Non Productive time Analysis (leave type). This report can be used for payroll purposes.

This legacy report has been re-written within the TimeTrak Report Designer and is available to be imported via the Admin Console, as per below:

Please note: Reports written in the Report Designer do not look at the user’s group permissions, meaning that if the user has access to run the report, which has a group/user selection all groups and users will display and can be reported on.

Unlike legacy reports where there is only the ability to report on a single user or all users, reports designed in the built-in report designer can have users selected as per user requirements:
