In TimeTrak 4, there is now a right-click functionality which allows users to quickly update details against a job or task if their TimeTrak profile permissions allow.
Updating Job Details
If permissions allow, users can right click and complete the following tasks:
- Add Job to Queue
- Add All to Queue (This adds all jobs in the grid to the specified queue).
- Remove from Queue
- Change Status of Job
- Change Date of Job
- Create Sub-Job
Updating Task Details
If permissions allow, users can right click and complete the following tasks:
- Add Task to a Queue
- Add All to Queue (This adds all tasks in the grid to the specified queue).
- Change Status (As per below users can update the status of the Task)
- Change the User the Task is assigned to
- Add Activity Log against the Task.
This feature is particularly useful in a task environment to allow users to quickly update Task details without the need to load each task screen.
It is also extremely helpful for schedulers who need to update Job information very quickly.
