In many businesses field and workshop staff check in and out of the item they are working on to record their time.
Commonly, event-based checklists to gather further information are part of this process which can take some time to complete that is not included in the check in/ out time requiring staff to adjust the end time of their time entries.
Within the TimeTrak APP from version 24.1.2.1
When staff check in and check out but have checklists that fire on the below events:
- Before Check Out
- On Suspend
For example, David Checked in at 11:54 and selected check out at 12:10 when his work was finished.
David has a service checklist on the event Before Check Out, which pops on selecting check out.
This checklist requires images to be taken and a client signature obtained which in this case took until 12:31 before the checklist was saved.
When the time entry screen loads, previously the end time would be rounded to 12:12 (closest 6-minute time unit to the checkout time of 12:10).
As per below, instead the end time is rounded to the closest time unit to 12:31 which includes the time spent completing the checklist and David does not need to manually adjust the end time.
