TimeTrak Newsletter – March 2023

March 6, 2023 General,TimeTrak Newsletters,

Hi there,

We hope your business year is off to a good start, things are busy for us at TimeTrak with new implementations, new features being built, and new releases coming.

We have made the decision to move TimeTrak to a Subscription based pricing model.

All new implementations are now sold as a monthly subscription, with a different price level for TimeTrak Professional and TimeTrak Mobile\APP users.

This is in line with the changes in the market for this type of software platform, and going forward, if you wish to have your TimeTrak in the cloud with us, then we have developed a SAAS (Software-as-a-service) platform to accommodate this, so if you choose to migrate to MYOB Advanced then you can continue to use TimeTrak.

We have also undertaken market research and reviewed our competitors in the marketplace, offering similar feature sets for the medium-sized timesheet and field services markets. This has shown that our current pricing is well below that of similar products.

We are introducing new pricing from the 1st of April 2023, or when your TimeTrak renewal is next due.

This pricing will be offered as a monthly subscription based on the amount of TimeTrak Professional and TimeTrak Mobile\APP licenses you have\require.

Pricing breaks will occur based on your total amount of users if you have more than 25 access licenses.

Should you require additional licenses before your renewal date these will charged directly to you under the new subscription model.

For clients that have been using TimeTrak for less than three years and purchased TimeTrak under our Perpetual licensing method (purchase price + annual license fee), we will be offering a rebated pricing structure, so you are not unfairly penalised as we migrate to our subscription pricing.

We realise that you have choices in the time sheeting and field service software you use, but for us to keep building new features and provide the support structures to assist our clients, these changes are necessary.

If you are sitting on an older version of TimeTrak, then we encourage you to consider upgrading as we continue to build and enhance the product. In the last few releases, we have added the following major enhancements, plus many smaller improvements and bug fixes:

  1. Overtime and Allowance Calculator
  2. FeatureEmail Templates and enhancements
  3. Share external file links
  4. Attachments on Appointments and Time Entries
  5. Approval Enhancements and Customer Approval
  6. Resource planning
  7. Project \ Gantt Planning

We have also applied a lot of resources and effort into building our Mobile APP (Android and IOS) as a replacement to our traditional web-based Mobile Platform, and we would now encourage you to consider migration to the APP when you next upgrade your TimeTrak Platform.

This year we also plan to add: Leave Approval, SMS notifications, Migrate Profile and User management/ setup to the TimeTrak Professional website as well as User Certification/ Qualification Management.

We will contact you 60 days before implementing these changes to review your current licensing requirements.

The advantage of a monthly subscription is that you can vary it each month if your user counts go up or down.
