Updating User’s Login Id’s in TimeTrak

Did you know there is the ability to adjust a user’s Login Id in TimeTrak?

In some cases, the Login Id may have been set wrong, and you need to adjust this.

TimeTrak Users:

1. Via TimeTrak Professional:

From version 21.2, global administrators can update some user settings via TiemTrak Professional, including users’ Login Id’s to do this, click the Menu> Settings> Users as per below:

Search and select the user, hold down the shift key and click the Login Id field. The below prompt will display for you to confirm you wish to update the Login Id as per below.

Note: You will also need to update the password when doing this – Click Yes to confirm.

The Login Id field will then be editable for you to make a change, and both password fields will be cleared for you to update before clicking “Save” to save changes.

2. Via the TimeTrak Admin Console:

This can be done by opening the user in the TimeTrak Admin Console and holding down the shift key before clicking the Login Id field. You will get a prompt to confirm you wish to update the Login Id as per below.

Note: You will also need to update the password when doing this – Click Yes to confirm.

The Login Id field will then be editable for you to make a change, and both password fields will be cleared for you to update before clicking “Ok” to save changes.

Client Portal Login Id’:

These can be adjusted within the TimeTrak administrator console> TimeTrak Client Portal> Clients.

Find the Client and contact you wish to adjust the Login Id for, hold down the shift key and right-click on the Login Id field, where you will get an option to “Make the login field editable” as per below:

Select “Make the login field editable”, and you will get a prompt as per below for you to confirm.

Note: You will also need to update the password when doing this – Click Yes to confirm.

The Login Id field will then be editable for you to make a change, and both password fields will be cleared for you to update before clicking “Ok” to save changes.
